The 202 CFM stage 1 towing port enhances combustion and promotes greater flow in and through the cylinder head for better EGT control and improved efficiency and power. The towing port was engineered for maximum reliability by retaining thick port walls with precise CNC contouring for a 27% increase in flow complemented with enhanced swirl ramps. Higher swirl promotes greater in-cylinder fuel/air blending for enhanced combustion efficiency, faster turbo response, and reduced idle haze.
This cylinder head is manufactured in-house to meet and/or exceed factory specifications. New heads are inspected, surfaced, CNC threaded, CNC ported, cleaned, assembled, pressure tested, and carefully packaged to ensure they arrive ready for installation. For added reliability, these heads feature higher press valve seats to enhance valve seat retention and are finished with a modern multi-angle valve job. We’ve also added 11 CNC-threaded freeze plugs to prevent disastrous coolant leaks under the valve cover.
The stage 1 towing port is perfect for both daily drivers and heavy-duty towing applications.
