Fresh head gasket install on this second gen,
and Myer's driving it out to Missouri to see family,
when the thermostat sticks wide open climbing up to Vail.
Snowing, icy roads, no heat in the truck.
His fix on the fly: throw it in four wheel drive,
and boost brake up the grade at 40 mph,
amd force the temp up and unstick the thermostat.
Rolling coal the whole way up,
probably looked like chaos to anyone who saw it.
But it worked, heat's back.
Sometimes you just gotta beat the crap out of your truck
and hope it works out..
