Power Driven Diesel Cylinder Head Warranty
First 6 Months
Power Driven Diesel will work with you to organize all shipping at no cost within the first 90 days. All cylinder heads under warranty will be required to have the following information attached to the pallet/box:
- Bill Of Lading or Shipping Label (provided by our customer service department)
After 90 Days
After the first 90 days, Power Driven Diesel will no longer cover freight costs up front. Once the cylinder head has arrived and been inspected, if the warranty claim is approved, we will reimburse you for the shipping costs you incurred when a receipt is provided.
You will be provided with a brand-new product if repairs cannot be made.
After 6 Months
After the first 6 months, Power Driven Diesel will no longer replace your product with a brand-new cylinder head. You will be provided the option to pay a cross-shipping fee to receive a refurbished cylinder head, or to arrange shipping back to our facility for assessment and repair. If repairs cannot be made, you will be provided with an excellently refurbished cylinder head.
Any misuse, abuse or incorrect installation of your Power Driven Diesel cylinder head voids this warranty agreement.
Power Driven Diesel recommends that you retain the following information, as well as your original invoice, within your records, in order to aid in any future warranty claims.
Warranty Requirements
When sending in your cylinder head to Power Driven Diesel, the following information is required. Failure to do so may severely delay the warranty process or possibly void this agreement.
- Authorization from Power Driven Diesel
- Photos sent from all angles of your uninstalled cylinder head
- Photos sent of your palletized/packaged cylinder head ready to ship
- Confirmed shipping information and delivery availability
If the cylinder head is not properly secured for transport back to our facility, the cost of additional repairs incurred will be the responsibility of the owner to pay in full before return shipment may be scheduled.
Completion Of Warranty
Once your Power Driven Diesel cylinder head arrives at our facility, it will be inspected, and the necessary repairs will be documented. If additional repairs are necessary, you will be contacted by our team with your options. Once repaired, our shipping team will schedule reshipment. You will be provided information of the repairs made. If misuse, abuse, or incorrect installation is evident, the customer will be held responsible for return shipping.
We are aware many customers paint, cerakote, or powder coat their parts. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to salvage these modifications during the warranty process and we cannot reimburse any additional costs you initially incurred making these modifications. Your product will be thoroughly cleaned and repainted before reassembly and reshipment.
We will do our best to complete warranty work, approved or denied, as quickly as possible. Due to machine shop scheduling, this process may take up to three weeks. Please contact our customer service team with any timeframe concerns you may have.
Denied Warranties
In the rare event that your warranty is denied, you will be provided the option to pay for R&R, which starts at $500. The basic R&R included in this fee is complete teardown and cleaning, inspection of all parts, and resurfacing in our CNC machine. If additional replacement parts are required, such as valves or guides, those are not included in the fee and will need to be paid for before repair is completed.
Power Driven Diesel retains the right to refuse warranty coverage if any of the required information is not accurate upon inspection, failure to complete all warranty requirements, as well as suspicion of incorrect installation, abuse, or misuse of your Power Driven Diesel Cylinder Head.
Power Driven Diesel reserves the right to amend this agreement at any time.
