We Built the Most Prepared DIESEL RACE TRUCK Going to UCC 2026

196 days. Over 2,000 hours of work. One second gen built to compete in every class at Ultimate Callout Challenge 2026. If you want to see what serious diesel performance prep actually looks like, this is the video. Myer breaks down every major change made since last year, when the truck weighed 5,800 pounds and his best pass was a 5.92. The mission was simple: hit the 4,400 pound UCC minimum and be competitive in drag racing, dyno, and sled pull. The truck now sits at 4,420 with a bottle and already ran a 4.99 in the eighth on a compound turbo setup with a motor he calls the "tow truck engine." That is right around 2,100 horsepower before the real build even goes in. Weight came out through a full front half frame chop, cutting hoods and fenders, a non-CAD front axle swap, and stripping everything that does not need to be there. The cage was upgraded to a full 25.6 by John Schroeder, and the electronics package runs a Holley Terminator X controlling nitrous, shifting, and wastegates with full data logging. The new engine is a full deck plate build with a Wagler kit, Diamond pistons, King Speed shelf head, and Dynamite injectors on 6.7 bodies, all managed by a standalone Bosch MIS 25 ECU so the truck can think fast enough under nitrous at high RPM to actually protect that investment. The sled pull setup is the wildest piece of this whole thing. The infamous Godfather axle configuration, a heavy duty Dana 60 up front and a semi tractor rear end out back on 4.88 gearing with dual cut portals, gets mounted to a completely separate Pratt truss sub-chassis that the truck body simply sets onto. It has won the UCC sled pull twice and it is coming back in 2026. Subscribe and hit the bell so you do not miss a single video from UCC 2026. Everything on this truck started with quality parts and the right people behind them.
