This drive shaft should not exist on a truck like this.
Myer pulled a tube straight off a factory third-gen rear shaft,
threw it on the lathe, and kept cutting until he figured out,
how thick the wall actually was.
Spoiler: it's 3/16. The new one he replaced it with?
A semi-truck slip joint at 3.5 inch with .083 wall.
The whole thing tips the scale at 90 lbs.
This build is getting out of hand and we are here for it.
