The stock lift pump on a 12v Cummins is one of the weakest links in the fuel system. It’s mounted to the engine block, has to pull fuel all the way from the tank, and struggles to maintain adequate pressure even at stock power levels. On a modified truck — bigger injectors, advanced timing, performance turbo — it’s a liability. Low fuel pressure starves the VP44 or P7100 of the supply it needs, leading to pump damage, poor performance, and hard starts.

The Power Driven Hot Rod Modified Lift Pump is a high-performance mechanical lift pump built specifically for 94–98 12v Cummins trucks. Modified in-house by Power Driven Diesel, it flows up to 95 GPH and supports up to 750 HP — everything you need from a stock daily driver to a serious performance build.
