OptiTorque 10392P Patriot Head Stud Kits are 100% manufactured with pride in the USA. Produced from melted aircraft-quality American fine-grain clean steel, each fastener is batch heat treated, with every part individually loaded and arranged to produce the most uniform hardness available, ensuring an even clamp load. All fasteners are stress-relieved prior to centerless grounding for maximum straightness and exact tolerance. The Patriot Series fasteners are thread-rolled hard and include an optimized stretch area designed to outperform the competition in cycle fatigue. Each fastener is hot temperature oiled and brilliant black oxide coated for added corrosion resistance.
This kit contains forged high-strength heat-treated 12-point nuts, precision-ground load-distributing washers (ensuring a proper and uniform clamp load), quantity x 6 high-strength M8x1.25 rocker pedestal attaching bolts, TrueTorq fastener assembly lubricant, and installation instructions.
