• Stage 0 (As-Cast Block): The base OEM block in its raw, mass-machined form, perfect for budget-conscious rebuilds or stock applications while maintaining OEM reliability. We recommend the engine builder verify all clearances, and while the block surfaces meet Cummins specifications, we recommend a finer surface finish on the deck surface for optimal MLS head gasket performance. (120 or better Ra is recommended for MLS head gaskets) 
• Stage 1 up to 500HP (Surfaced & Checked): Premium CNC surfaced to provide a 80 Ra deck surface finish followed with precise clearance checks by Power Driven Diesel to ensure adequate piston to wall and main bearing clearance.  (Ready to clean and assemble)
• Stage 2 up to 700HP-800 Hp (Extreme Tow & Performance): CNC Torque-Plate Extreme Plateau Diamond Honed with enhanced valley depth crosshatching for high horsepower applications and CNC precision round bores with 0.002” additional piston to wall clearance.  Premium CNC surfaced to provide a 80 Ra deck surface followed with precise clearance checks by Power Driven Diesel to ensure adequate high-performance piston to wall and main bearing clearance.  (Ready for builder to clean and assemble)
• Stage 3 up to 1200HP(or Block Failure)  (All-Out Performance): CNC Torque-Plate Extreme Plateau Diamond Honed with enhanced valley depth crosshatching for high horsepower applications and CNC precision round bores with 0.004” additional piston to wall clearance.
