The BD Diesel 1045987 Exhaust Pulse Manifold features a heavy-duty multi-piece design to eliminate manifold cracks in your 2003-2007 Dodge 5.9L Cummins.
The factory exhaust manifold's single-piece design is prone to cracks, which can cause exhaust leaks that can rob you of power. The BD Diesel 1045987 Exhaust Pulse Manifold is cast from high-silicon ductile iron and features an expansion joint that allows the manifold to expand and contract without cracking.
As the name implies, these manifolds are "pulse tuned" to assist in combustion chamber evacuation and increased exhaust flow. The result is quicker turbo spool-up, reduced backpressure, increased power, and better fuel economy. Great for stock and performance applications. The BD Diesel 1045987 Exhaust Pulse Manifold is pre-drilled and tapped for pyrometer probes.
