Are you considering a replacement turbo or exhaust brake? With the BD Diesel Howler VGT Turbo Kit for common rail Dodge 5.9L trucks, you can get both and enjoy the drivability that a modern VGT turbo offers. The strong exhaust brake rivals butterfly-valve-type brakes and generates up to 65 psi EBP across a wide rpm band. This item comes with a full install kit including a turbo, a BD manifold, a plug-and-play controller kit, and all the necessary fittings for a straightforward installation.
- For 450-575 hp towing trucks, we suggest pairing the 1047139 kit with a stock HE351VE turbo with stock or 60 hp injectors
- For 575-675 hp trucks, we suggest pairing the 1047140 kit with a Screamer turbo with 90-120 hp injectors and an R900 CP3 pump
