MLS gaskets are steel.
They don't give like composite does.
That means your O-ring protrusion has to shrink too,
from around 10 to 12,000 on a composite gasket,
down to just 5 to 6,000 on an MLS.
Get that number wrong and,
you're fighting the gasket instead of sealing it.
